Zoning Districts are established by Section 1-2.2.1, Establishment of Zoning Districts. The zoning districts that are established by this Article are intended to:<\/SPAN><\/P> 1. Guide new development according the the Florence Comprehensive Plan;<\/SPAN><\/P> 2. Protect and enhance community character;<\/SPAN><\/P> 3. Respect and Conserve the development patterns within the City's established neighborhoods;<\/SPAN><\/P> 4. Facilitate redevelopment within the City's established neighborhood's that are in transition;<\/SPAN><\/P> 5. Provide opportunities for commercial development and mixed-use activity centers the serve City regional residents and visitors;<\/SPAN><\/P> 6. Provide opportunities for development of employment centers in campus and industrial park settings.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
